I am registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as both a marriage and family therapist and professional clinical counselor. Operating from an existential lens, informed by family systems and psychodynamic theories, I believe that change is both deeply personal and relational. I have worked with clients navigating a myriad of issues and I tailor my humanistic approach to meet clients where they are at.

Whether you're seeking a therapist to hold space for your pain or hold you accountable to your goals, together we will build a therapeutic alliance in service of the person you hope to become. Treatment is highly individualized, integrating clinically appropriate techniques and interventions for each unique client. Across residential, school, community, and clinic-based settings I have developed clinical interests in family therapy, human sexuality, neurodiversity, and culturally humble trauma-informed care.

Education & Experience

I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020 as a double major, having studied human rights and rhetoric. I spent four years working in nonprofit development, where I advocated on behalf of community mental health agencies in California's East Bay to major donors, government agencies, and corporations.

I completed my master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University where I contributed to research for the Tamkin Qualitative Research Lab, studying skin-tone socialization and reflective functioning among Black/African American women.

Clinically, I have extensive family systems training involving the use of a one way mirror, experience working in clinic, school, and community-based settings, and working in residential treatment providing crisis stabilization to youth and families dually diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism, ADHD, etc.) and another severe mental health challenge.

Personal Background

I am a California native, born and raised in the Los Angeles area, but I have spent the past decade living in the Bay Area. When I'm not at home in San Francisco, you can find me traveling the rest of the world. I highly value the freedom and wisdom that each new adventure provides, and I enjoy sharing these experiences with others through photography, writing, and other forms of art.

Despite my love for travel, my greatest joy is getting to return home to my community, my clients, and my cat Maeve. I also enjoy yoga, cooking, astrology, and rewatching my favorite TV shows.

Enough about me, I'm excited to learn more about YOU
